GoLive: Lesson 6 - Creating Image Maps

GoLive also includes tools that integrate the process of creating an image map. If you create a new page called places.html and insert the graphic map.jpg, an image map can be added to this picture by clicking on the image and then selecting the Map tab in the Inspector.

The map displays buttons from where you can draw directly onto the image. Use the rectangular, elliptical or irregular drawing tools to draw around the section of the page that you wish to transform into a hot spot, then, in the properties palette, type a link into the URL box.
