GoLive

Originally GoLive's CyberStudio, this application gained a great deal of support on the Mac and is now available for PC as well as Mac. GoLive's approach is slightly different to other editors: in addition to a visual editor it also offers a 'tabbed' view of HTML code similar to that in HoTMetaL Pro for designers wishing to edit tags quickly. The following exercises will take you through creating a web site using GoLive and supplement those exercises found in the Web Production for Writers and Journalists book, which also explains the purpose of each component in the following exercises. If you have not already downloaded the graphics and text to create this site, do so by going to the resources page.

Before following these lessons, you may wish to familiarise yourself with the GoLive interface by clicking here.
